Problem - Reality check and experience
Small and medium sizes companies and individuals often do not have any experience with marketing and branding, content creation, marketing strategy and overall marketing activities. They do many things by themselves event they do not know how to id it "on the knee" and only when they find the time to do it in their busy schedule.
Most of my clients are small and medium sizes companies or individuals so I often experience situations when clients do not really know what they want or what they need. Many times they mistakenly think that for example a video is what their business needs to success but they did not think about other basic marketing activities. So in the end even the most beautiful video, photos, graphic banners will not bring expected results.
Reasons why this can happen is companies many times do not have a time to do it, do not have experienced and skilled people to do it and many time they think: we will manage it by ourselves "somehow", we will take some photos by ourselves "somehow", we will shoot some video by ourselves "somehow" or we will set up some paid campaigns by ourselves "somehow".
And then they are shocked and surprised that "somehow" is not working at all and there are not results. Then I often hear statements as: "social media marketing is not for us"... "we already tried that but it did not work"... and so on.
